African tribal art Lobi head from Burkina Faso.
Beautiful Lobi head figure with wood patina of use. The Lobi Head was placed on family altars in the thilda, a small sacristy or room in each dwelling. Each figure was not a representation but an actual spirit, Figure from the Gaoua region of Burkina faso.
We find the Lobi people in Burkina Faso, few in Ghana and in Northern of Ivory Coast.
